She began manufacturing on a very small scale from home. In those days she used to handle 5 kids (2 Sons and 3 Daughters) and also the business, the living situation was very difficult but she struggle a lot, customers used to give orders like 1 kg or 2 kg in a day sometimes in weeks.
Later on, she with her kids shifted to a different street named Patel Society. Where two of her son Kalpeshbhai Patel and Sanjaybhai Patel helped to expand the business along with their mother. They expanded business at the terrace of the house with a few advanced machines and a couple of laborers.
The company shifted to the place where we are located right now while giving the company a new shape with the name "Mihir Papad" but till date popularly known as "Patel Papad" as due to origin of its establishment. The customer would love to describe the company as Patel Papad.
Whether we have advanced in food production with machines or with technology perspective, we have always followed our 40 years old receive and traditional method with sun-dried quality. And it is always our mission to continue with the same quality and method for ages.
